Well look at what we have here. Looks like there was some DRAMA between two soulful songbirds Miss Barbara Mason and Miss Shirley Brown. I won't talk much about it because it's all speculative. Apparently Shirley had the man first, Barbara swooped in and took said man. The songs are here. You judge for yourself :).
Shirley Brown - Woman to Woman
Barbara Mason - From His Woman To You
Barbara Mason - You've Got the Papers, I've Got the Man
Thanks for the read.
How many of you been involved in this sort of thing?

GURL...thanks for that one. That was the funniest 7 mins and 48 secs ever Barbara Mason was seriously going hard. She was like fuck the song let me just tell you about my 7 days, and 7 nights with your man. And peep the back up singers they just repeat the last word she says and sing it in the background. Good find.
I have to say that the music of the African American Community really excites me. You people don't just make music, you make experiences. Sometimes I wish I was..one of you.
Keep on keeping on
Old school chickenhead song.
i love the anonymous comment!
Apparently there wasn't any beef between the two women and certainly no man. Three MEN wrote "Woman to Woman" and convinced Shirley to sing it. The Barbara that they were referring to was a joke, because it was the name of one of the men's wife! Barbara Mason wrote "From His Woman to You" as an answer song after she heard "Woman to Woman".
