Behind the Scenes - Photoshoot 2009

Greetings,

I know that it has been quite sometime, but as you can see, I have been a little busy. I am trying my hand at something new. In order for me to really take this new venture seriously, I had to make some investments, that I will hopefully get an ROI (return of investment) on.

If you look below you will see some behind the scenes footage of the photoshoot that I did with my friend, Super Duper photographer Rayon Richards. I did three different looks and over the course of harassing him, I finally settled on the date and magic was made.

As usual thank you for taking the time to check me out. I do appreciate it... I will definitely thank you when I accept my Emmy, SAG, TONY, RAZZIE (lol), Oscar etc.

The Process:
The best thing about this shoot was the shopping. I mostly window shopped, and visited blogs looking for celebrity inspiration. I came across one look that I loved and it was sported by Amber Rose (Kanye's new boo). She was sporting some red disco pants from American Apparel, a white tee and a fly leather jacket. When I went to try the pants on, I soon found that my calves were too big for those itty bitty pants so I nearly gave up on the look until I stepped in H&M and I found the red pants that you see in the second look.

The black dress in the last look was something that I purchased on sale a while ago. I had no idea where I would wear it, but after a weekend of watching some movies from the 40's and 50's I was inspired once again. The flower and pearls came after when I needed something to finish the look.

I know that I asked everyone I know which looks I should do, and being the indecisive Cancer that I am, I changed my mind 50-11 times. When it came down to it, I wanted to look like me, but glamified.

So without further ado, behind the scenes of my very first photo shoot.
